Before you renew your Marketplace plan, see what you actually qualify for

The enhanced subsidies ended and many families saw their payments go up. We review your case, your doctors and your prescriptions against the plans we offer in your county before your plan renews on its own, at no additional cost to you.

Health plans through RTM Brokers of Florida, Inc., a private agency not affiliated with the government. Agent Roberto Rojas Jr., NPN 8520815.

Do you qualify for a subsidy in 2027?

Three facts: ZIP code, people in your household and estimated income for the year. The calculator answers in seconds, with no email or phone required.

Check my subsidy Book an appointment

The calculator lives on rtmbrokers.com, the website of RTM Brokers of Florida, Inc., the health agency of SVM Insurance. The estimate is informational: subsidies depend on your income and household size, and eligibility is determined by the Marketplace.

Which one is your case?

My plan renews on its own

If you do nothing, the Marketplace renews you with last year's information. The tax credit is recalculated every year and doctor networks change; we review it with you before December 15.

My payment went up

The enhanced subsidies ended in 2025. We check your income estimate and compare the plans we offer in your county to see if another option fits you better.

I lost my job or Medicaid

Losing other coverage opens a 60-day special enrollment period. You don't have to wait for November.

I'm self-employed (1099)

Your credit depends on the income you estimate for the year. A bad estimate gets paid back at tax time; we work the number out with you.

New baby, marriage, a move or turning 26

These are life events that let you enroll or change plans outside open enrollment. You have 60 days from the event.

I'm not a citizen

Starting in 2027 the rules change for who keeps the credit that lowers the payment. See who keeps it and who loses it.

What we help with

  • New enrollment in a Marketplace (Obamacare) plan
  • Renewals: we re-run your case every year instead of letting the plan auto-renew
  • Mid-year changes: income, address, marriage, birth, loss of other coverage
  • ID cards, payments, Marketplace letters and problems with the insurance company
  • Dental plans

Dates for 2027

  • Open enrollment: November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027
  • For coverage starting January 1, enroll by December 15, 2026
  • Outside those dates you can enroll with a qualifying life event; you have 60 days from the event
  • Since October 2026 the Marketplace asks you to authorize, every year, the agent who manages your account. See the official message and how to protect your account

The standard subsidy is still available depending on your income and eligibility, which is why it pays to review your case before renewing.

Frequently asked questions

Is SVM Insurance part of the government?

No. SVM Insurance is a private agency licensed in Florida (L099276). The Health Insurance Marketplace is the government program; our job is to help you use it well and stay with you all year.

What does your help cost?

Nothing additional. Agencies are compensated by the insurance companies when you enroll, and the price of your plan is the same with or without an agent.

Why do my papers say RTM Brokers of Florida?

RTM Brokers of Florida, Inc. is the health agency of SVM Insurance, founded by Roberto Rojas in 2006. Same team, same Cutler Bay office, same agent of record. Your Marketplace documents will show Roberto Rojas Jr. and his NPN 8520815.

How much will I pay per month?

It depends on your income, household size, age, county and the plan you choose. We don't give prices without reviewing your case. The calculator gives you an estimate in seconds; a call gives you the real number.

My payment went up this year. What can I do?

The enhanced subsidies ended at the close of 2025 and many families saw their payment go up. We check three things: that your income estimate is right, which other plans we offer in your county, and whether a different plan tier fits you better. We don't promise a price without reviewing your case.

Do I need to be a U.S. citizen to get a Marketplace plan?

No. Citizens and many lawfully present people can enroll. What changes on January 1, 2027 is who gets the tax credit that lowers the payment: it is limited mainly to citizens, green card holders and certain Cuban and Haitian entrants. See who keeps it and who loses it. This is not immigration advice; eligibility is determined by the Marketplace.

When does my coverage start?

If you pick your plan by December 15, it starts January 1. If you pick it between December 16 and January 15, it starts February 1. With a qualifying life event, it generally starts the first day of the following month.

Can I enroll outside open enrollment?

Yes, when there is a qualifying life event, such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby or a change in income. You have 60 days from the event.

What is the agent authorization message I received?

Since October 2026 the Marketplace asks you to confirm every year who your agent is, with a code or a link that expires in 15 minutes. It's official. See what the message looks like and how to protect your account.

Will I get flooded with calls if I leave my number?

No. One person from this office contacts you, during office hours. We don't sell or share your number with third parties for marketing, and you can reply STOP at any time.

Am I obligated to enroll if I fill out the form?

No. Requesting a call commits you to nothing. If your current plan still works for you, we tell you so and you keep it.

Your 2027 plan shouldn't renew on its own

Subsidies are recalculated every year. One call tells you whether your plan still makes sense.
